5PK1023 or 5PK1030 A/C belt on 4.6is engine?

I'm still fairly new to my X5 so I'll pick your brains guys if you don't mind.

Dealer genuine is twice as much and I never had any issues with Contitech, Dayco, Gates or Goodyear.

Trouble is that 3 other list 1030 size and OEM Contitech lists 1023 size.

Contitech 1023 is only $8 at AutohausAZ which is the best deal.

Which size is correct?

Thanks.

You're thinking main belt, my question is about A/C belt. Thanks anyway.

5pk1023 is the spec and the one I pulled out, I put in a 5pk1025 with no problem.

This was on an 03 4.6is.

Yes, I suspect that tensioner can take the slack for little bigger belt but I just don't want go to big and overreach tensioner limit. I'll probably go $8 ContiTech 1023 from AutohausAZ. Thanks.

I've looked at FCP prices and specs for belt as I'm looking for starter and they have a good price. I'll probably stick with 1023. Thanks.

When in doubt go to the manufacturer's website as all the others are subject to human error. All show both belts on the AC and WP

V8 4.6L
2002-2003

Serpentine - AC.............................. 5K1023
Serpentine - WP, ALT.................... 7K1623

Now on their parts finder it says
V8 4.6L
2002-2003
5K1030 which is 1030MM in length

Penske Parts
11287507626 RIBBED V-BELT - 5K X 1023
11287507626 was superseded by 11287636374.
11287636374 RIBBED V-BELT - PK5X1023

Euro best price on AC belt Accessory Drive Belt (5K 1023) (A/C)
2002 BMW X5 4.6is (E53) 4.6L 8 Cyl (32 Valve) Engine Parts - Free Shipping

Serpentine Belt (5K 1030) - Continental 5K1030
