E70 X5 M Sport Package OEM Tow hitch Install.
Anyone with an X5 with the M sport package (ours is a 2013) have a OEM trailer hitch installed? Do they have to replace the back bumper trim or is it cut and modified? Thanks

I have a 2011 Sport 50i and installed an invisihitch (execuhitch). No visible cutting involved. Just a small part of the bottom of the bumper fascia. It's not a cheap set-up, but highly recommended if you'd like to maintain the stock look of the car.

As stated above, look at invisihitch.com Understand that beside the hitch, you need the BMW wiring harness (DO NOT use any other harness) AND you need a electric trailer brake controller. Lots of threads around on this.... |
