Level control system malfunction

*sigh* I seem to be having an issue with the level control.
Need some pointers. It sometimes works flawlessly. Sometimes this stupid error comes up. Mostly when I have passengers. Usually when I drive by myself there's no error.
I ran my bmwhat app and found "regular time failure"
Any idea what the problem could be?
There's no saggyness. It looks pretty leveled to me.

My guess would be either a sensor or airbag need to be replaced. When the airbag first starts to fail, you may not notice it, but it will get gradually worse. If you don't hear your compressor working any more than usual, then I'd guess that it's a sensor, but only inspection will tell.

^ To amplify: the airbag seems to get small cracks that 'self seal' with the crack in the folds- so they may leak sometimes but not others. if it is the bag it will eventually sag. Ignore that and the pump will burn out

Quick and easy to check for micro-leaks. Dilute dish washing liquid soap in a spray bottle and apply to both bags. The micro-leaks produce a uniform foam bead that follows the weave pattern of the bag fabric, usually very close to the Base which as Ard pointed out is the reason for the self sealing during the early stages of failure.

Is this only in the back or is it also in the front?

Bump. It still seems to do this once in a while. Just want to confirm is the problem in the rear only or could it be front that could be causing the issue too?

The airbags are only in the rear.
