Thrust arm bushings/lower control arms probably need to be replaced.
After 50k they are about done for. Heel toe wear on the outer edges of the tires is often the inability for the suspension geometry to stay stable. Meaning something is loose and moving around while in motion and varies from the baseline settings. Meaning worn components and bushings.

Just to finish off the thread for me; I had my dealership's service department align my X5 to ARD's specs on new CPO OE tires. We'll see.
