Wheel lock problem
The lock key groove broke in the wheel lug. I can't get it out. I tried drilling it out of the lug nut but the drill bit keeps on braking. Has anyone experience this kind of problem?? If so, how did you get the lock nut out with a lock key?? TIA, Sam

You need to hammer on a socket thats just slightly bigger than the lock, or heat the socket so it expands, and then hammer it on.

Drive it over to a tire shop. They'll have something like this:
SK 920 2 Piece 1/2-Inch Drive 3/4-Inch / 13/16-Inch and 7/8-Inch / 15/16-Inch Turbo Socket Wheel Removal Set - Wheel Lock Removal Tool - Amazon.com |

Put an add on Craigslist offering anyone $50 that can removed the wheel lock.
I sure there are some enterprising young men in your area that have a bit of experience removing these wheel locks! |

Drill may be breaking with too much force or speed, try a machine shop or automotive shop.
