Thumbs up Center console storage

I made an organizer for the center console in my '09. I was fed up having to dig through the "pile" of stuff (CDs, cables, breath mints, business cards, cloths, glass case, notepads, pens, receipts, etc.) to find what I wanted.

I started with a cardboard template and fine tuned it. Then made the final design from 1/4" black foam core. It fits snug and looks pretty good. A great result for a minimal time and material investment.

The organizer breaks up the large volume into smaller usable spaces and keeps everything in its place. I will post pictures later this week after my X5 gets out of the body shop. If anyone is interested, I can also post print-to-cut plans at that time.

Yes, I'd love to see pictures. Right now, I have a kleenex square tissue box in the center and just stuff paper and other things on the side.

I will be sure to post pictures and the cutting plans.

boostedX5SAV: I have started using the Kleenex Auto Wedge Tissues. The box fits snuggly in the cubby under the second row climate controls and is easily reached from the front row. Now my Kleenex box does not get trampled on and is always within reach. Only complaint is that it only holds 24 tissues.

Any more information on this. I'm growing tired of rummaging through the console.

My apologies to all. Work has been hectic along with my daughter's end of year school activities. I will work on the "print & cut" plans and material list tonight. The plans will require 11" x 17" paper for printing. I will post the PDF file tomorrow.

I ask that anyone who makes an organizer send me some feedback on the design and any modifications they might add. It would be greatly appreciated.
