Electrical malfunction message and trifecta of lights

I am having this weird constant, persistent power issue. I will be driving and after about 15-30 minutes, all of the sudden I will lose power to the CCC, radio, instrument cluster, sunroof, rear windows only. I get all the lights and error messages: Trans fault, Electrical Malfunction, Passive Restraint, check engine light, brake lights on, etc, etc. Front power windows work and the X drives fine, no performance issues whatsoever. THEN, when I put my foot on the brake all power comes back like nothing happened although the airbag message and and check engine light stays on. I have pulled codes (and keep clearing them) and it looks like it may be my Junction box or maybe my CAS (comfort access) module failing, showing loss of communication but what I don't get is why everything is fine when I apply my brakes. Could be a problem with the CAN BUS? I replaced the battery (which was fine), its not my battery IBS and my alternator is putting out 14.5 volts. I checked all fuses, wiggled, pulled out and plugged back in all connections checked for frayed wires. My car is torn apart inside. Another guess is something to do with the braking system since every time I apply my brake all power comes back. Doesn't seem to be weather related. 2007 X5 100,000 miles. I have searched and searched the forums and have found no like issues. Its been frustrating to say the least. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
