New to Me X5 has arrived

First off thx. to all that I've PM'd and members on this board that helped me with various ?'s and input. So after many months of searching for the right color and options here it is 2011 X5 Premium - I was able to get the color combo I wanted (DSB) with Beige. I was looking for a Sport but eventually decided not to due to the 20" tires and MN harsh winters, and did not want to bother with swapping rim/tires etc. Blue or Red was the only color I was looking for so my search was very limited especially with the options I wanted. Looking at cars out of state has it's disadvantages many times I would call the dealer and discuss pics/options etc and before we could negotiate the car would sell locally same day or next (happened to me 3 times especially over weekends) I even came to the point where I thought I may just get an X3 and see what I can find. The one I bought showed up on my radar and immediately started conversation with the dealer etc and finalized in 2-3 days, flew down did PPI a week later.

This is my 3rd time now buying a car from out of state. Previous 2 times I would go first to see the vehicle get the PPI and then 1 or 2 weeks later family would come along and we would do a nice road trip back home. I did this from LA & Seattle. This time though kids did not have the time due to tests etc and the idea of me driving by myself for 2-3 days over 2000 miles was not feasible, so was hesitant but decided to ship. So I did the PPI test test drove and had shipped the next day. Shipping experience was great no worries took about 5 days.

Still learning glitches and gizmos but so far so good. Of course on to pics

thanks again

Congrats!
First thing first, get the Carly app and USB dongle and do some simple coding. Makes the car easier to use and better i think. Here is the link to the post

Two weeks ago I purchased mine. I was too looking for tan interior but I ended up with brown.
Wasn't completely happy with the interior color in the beginning but it grew on me.
Very few bells and whistles but at least it is a CPO covered until Dec 31, 2017 and it has 46k miles.
I'm thinking to purchase the extra one year Platinum CPO which will cost me $500.

Yours is Oyster with Black carpets...what year?

I did not think this difference can be 'ordered', but was rather a production change over years. Like to figure that out....
I am thinking that the OP is just beige being taken with a flash...definitely not oyster.
