Carly adaptor stopped working after a trip to the Stealer...

Got got my Carly, and coded my E70 and everything went fine (sometimes the connection was a little clunky, but it worked). The car went into the Stealer for some service, and they blew out my coding (they had to recode the whole car to add the trailer hitch module that I installed).

Since getting it back I can plug the Carly in, my iPhone see's the wireless network and connects to it.....but the app won't work. Usually the app asks me to plug in my adaptor as the app thinks it is not plugged in (no network). Yet it is and the phone is on the Carly network. I have "forgotten" the wifi network and re-added it, I have removed the app and reinstalled it...no joy. Even though my phone connects to the network I only get one relight on the Carly, vs I use to see the other lights come on as it connected and transmitted data, etc. Not saying it was the dealer who did anything, just seems very strange. Any thoughts?

^^^

Your adapter is now acting like the one I just received from Amazon (wifi seems to work, red light only on the adapter, APP will NOT connect, no matter what you do). I just did an exchange with Amazon to give this product a second try, because I felt the adapter was a dud. I wil know for sure in a few days when a new adapter arrives if it was just a failed adapter.

Sounds to me like your adapter has failed. Try to exchange for a new adapter.

Carly has a reliable connection protocol on their website support.
