Last checkup before the factory warranty expires

My car is due for one last checkup before the 50k/4 year warranty expires at the end of December. I'll go for oil/filter change, probably wiper blades.
Anything else I should ask them to check at this last visit? Is alignment included in the 50k maintenance?
Any idea is greatly appreciated.

"Alignment"?????

You're funny.

BMW only warrants their crappy alignment to 2000 miles.

If you are serious, find an indy and have them do a VERY thorough inspection... PAY THEM...take their list and tell BMW 'fix these'.

Telling your BMW dealer to 'please inspect this and that before the warranty ends' will not result in them finding very much. IMO. But...come back at 60k miles and there will be plenty of items on their list of 'recommended services'

In my opinion, you have to be humble when you go to the dealer. Know a few people by their first name, and I think you have a lot to gain.

Today I went for the appointment. Besides the regular oil change and filter, I asked the service manager to test the battery, check the wiper blades and the PDC sensors. The PDC sensors don't always "notice" the obstacle and they usually send the beeping signal way too late. Most times they don't do anything unless I activate the PDC system from the push button under the CD unit.
Anyway, after checking the battery, they noticed that my "lights module" doesn't work properly. So far they gave me a loaner untill they receive a replacement module, tomorrow or the day after. They already replaced the battery and the wiper blades.
I will update the post once I have more info about the "lights module". To be honest the Carly app always pulled a code for the lights (which I cleared a few times) but I did not pay much attention because nothing seemed to be wrong.

You could verbalize a specific complaint, which is more likely to result in action than a 'could you check everything and find stuff to replace'

As you had a history of an LCM code, it isnt odd they are following up.

Agree being nice is much much better than demanding, at least when asking for what might be a favor.

Most mechanical parts I can cover myself. Though I didn't remove the underneath engine panel, I can easily see there are no oil leaks. I have some experience with my previous X5 in that regard. No shot bushings, or struts problems, as I can see. My main concern with BMW's is the electronics/electric part. I wouldn't even know where to start if I have a problem.i

Update: after two days I got my car back. They changed the 'footwell module', battery, wiper blades, checked the PDC sensors and fixed the brakes squicky noise. I usually fix the squicky noise by putting grease between the pads and calipers. They ended up changing the metal shims on the back of the pads. Much better than my messy solution.
