Long ago I "replaced" my rear-view mirror with one of these convex mirrors. Not only does it resolve your issue easily, it also gives you a wider view for blind spots and larger view to the back seat if you have kids. I love these as the stock mirror is simply too small after going to these.

Out of interest why would you want to disable the anti dazzle? I find it works great and stops me having to keep flicking the mirror up all the time?

The dark factory tint and the lack of rear view camera, makes it very difficult to backup, especially at night. I can't see a thing in the mirrors. I have PDC but that not too reliable.

If its totally dark outside why are the any dazzle mirrors dimming ?
