Plasti dipping my E70.

What's up everybody,

I'm totally a newbie when it comes to BMW. I just got my X5 Friday night and I LOVE it!! But cosmetically it could be a little better. Which leads to this post.

I wanted to know if anyone has any TOTALLY plasti dipped E70s, I'm thinking about coating the entire body, the grilles, and the side mirrors with either matte or satin plasti dip. Part of my job is re-painting used equipment so I'm very familiar with the technique of painting, but does the plasti dip have a different "feel" when painting? Any learning curve in contrast to painting?

Thanks!

P.S.
Also planning on removing the mufflers, the 4.8i needs to be heard!!
