35d been a tad lazy cranking on morning startups, new battery :-)

Car had been a bit lazy cranking in the mornings and I picked up a fresh item from Silver Spring 10 days back. Today, after digging out the drive way, I decided to swap it in and fire up the PC to register it.

INPA did not show me anything identifiable, though I did find some instructions for it to register the battery to the car. Next proceeded to search the internet to come up with instructions for Rheingold. I used this video to get the idea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uic1IOSYuyc

Pretty easy, 10 minutes later all done. Finding the right video on U-tube was the hardest part. Starts up like a champ even after running the software on it for a while to do the reset.

Here you go.

-He had slow cranks.
-Got a new battery from Silver Spring
-Shoveled his driveway after that massive storm
-Saw the battery there while standing on the freshly shoveled driveway and decided to install.
-Programmed it but didnt work
-Went on the You Tubes and found the directions
-Did the directions and it worked
-Purrs like a kitten now
-Used Google translate to write it in Russian

The End

Or you can use Carly for BMW to register.

But yeah, I recently replaced my 5 year old stock battery and it seemed to make a world of difference in how the car ran. Kind of weird, and maybe placebo-effect going on, but the car just seems to run better overall.

Quick trip to the left coast got in the way of adding the steps to do in RG for registering the battery. In Chicago changing planes just now but will try to add them this weekend.

I wasn't sure which language an LL would want translated to....but google offers endless possibilities..:-)
