Lowering my X5, Questions

Lowering my X5

Since the struts will be out, I wondered what parts I should replace too.
So a question is:
What parts should I replace when changing OEM springs to H&R 1.8 drop springs?

The Monster:
-2008 X5 4.8
-160k

Image just for before and after (later on in the posts life)

Thanks all.

I'd replace all the control arms, sway bar endlinks, and sway bar bushings. All
These bushings are past due at your mileage. And top hats on the struts.

I wouldn't just blank check replace everything unless no maintenance has ever been done on the car. Of course I wouldn't lower it either, but that's just me. BMW makes a great shorter version of the X5 known as a 5 series. Throw it on a lift or stands and inspect the suspension for worn components. The front thrust and control arms are known to wear.

I've owned the car since 60K on the clock.
some control arm maintenance was done but no sway bar or top hats.

Keep em coming.

I don't have any suggestions, but I'm subscribing. I have a lot to learn from somebody with 100k miles of X5 experience.

I would say just take the wheel off, look around and inspect parts. No need to throw money at new parts if only thing you may need is replacing the springs.
It would look great lowered a bit
