I'd try some more agressive cleaning steps, before I'd buy a new lamp assembly. Put a few drops of a good degreaser dishwasing liquid, like Dawn, into the rinse water (shake and drain). Then give that a clear water rinse, or two. That should get it out.

Ill try that when I get home but if it doesnt work Ill probably just buy the light from blue dragon.

You might also want to heat up that water that mixes with the detergent. Even use a hot rinse water.

Thanks, I got all the white residue out. Hot water and dawn worked like magic.

Well there is an opening on the back of the light other than the sockets but I still dont know how it would get behind the light. Thats the only possible explanation because the lens is completely sealed.

Suprising how they get in there. It will die soon though. Remove the light and see if you can get it out from one of the bulb sockets and then if not, do the rubbing alchol flush.
