Codes 004BCD & 0046EB

I got these two codes from Carly for a 2009 X5 35d
1. Reduction Passive level meter 004BCD
2. Reducing Agent pumpout transfer pump to (exactly how it is spelled in Carly) low 0046EB

Can anyone help with me understand these codes? I tried the search on this forum and Google and didn't come up with anything.

Thanks in advance.

I think your main culprit is passive tank. This 4BCD code refers to the error in the level senor.Unfortunately it's quite a common problem.Remedy is to get a new tank or get it repaired from these guys.

Your second code 46EB is i think is just the after effect of your first error code (malfunction in the level sensing system of passive tank).

Best would be to run test plan using BMW factory diagnostic software like ISTA before taking apart anything.

I hope it will help you to understand the problem.

Thank you. I didn't realize I needed to remove the first two 0s before searching.
