Is it just me or does everyone's navigation seem to give direction at the last minute? When it comes to turns it would be nicer if it gave direction commands sooner, is there a setting for this at all or is this just the way it is?

My Navigation after updating the DVD gives plenty of warning. Granted I have a bunk assed original CCC Unit but the new disc improved the responsiveness of the system.

Thanks but those all say not compatible with the 2010 models.

I have a 2007 X5 and successfully used a 2015 DVD I purchased off of ebay.

For my 8/2011 X5, I purchased a USB drive from Tischer some months ago. It was on sale for like $89 or something. Took about an hour all told to update the system. Haven't used the Nav since then but even before, I never felt like it was providing the instruction too late.

The problem I find with DVD's from eBay sellers is that they are often badly made copies and often don't work without reinserting the disc a few times.

While some may suggest that could be my nav unit, I have the original 2008 DVD that came with the car and have used it without having to reinsert a few times to get it read...

My really only bitch is that it tells you at the last minute when you are almost past the turn to make a turn. It would be nice if was a 5 or 10sec sooner. I will play with the split screen as most the time we never use that.
