CIC navigation retrofit rear camera retrofit

So I'm in the process of locating needed parts for the CIC navigation retrofit. I think I got the list of parts I need for the CIC navi, but I want to retrofit the rear camera while i'm doing the install of the navi. Found a post online with needed parts for the camera retrofit, but said it only applies if I have parking sensors, which I dont have. Would it still work or would I be better off buying an interface (something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-2012-BM...9XBB1d&vxp=mtr) and using aftermarket camera ? If I get an interface I could install a front camera also since the one listed on eBay have 2 video inputs. Need some input. Thanks in advance. BTW here's the link for the camera retrofit. - http://www.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1032878

yes you would need one of the $300 interfaces, the $90 does not work for if your car doesn't have parking sensors.
just curious, why not upgrade to NBT instead?

Hmmm, now I am starting to wonder.... NBT is from F15 ? or is it the CIC with combox +extras ? Anybody care to chime in on what exactly makes the NBT ?
