Passive Go retrofit
Hey all,
recently picked up my E70, and as i could not find any with CA, I opted for one with seemingly every option but. Now being a long time BMW owner, I am fairly partial to CA, and have researched retrofitting it. I have found some material on 3'ers, but not much on the E70. Now, the dealership I got my truck from owes me a spare key, as they've lost it, and I'm considering just ordering a CA key, and snagging a Passive Go module from my work. Theoretically I should be able to VO code in CA, retrofit a Passive Go, and use the CA key in conjunction to start without key in dash, without the 3 antennas or CA handles. Has anyone done anything similar? I have no issue with using my key to unlock the car, in fact I prefer it, since I can roll windows down and fold mirrors, etc, but I dislike putting the key in the dash to start. Especially with being in new F15 every day and not having to do so.
