Anyone find a good LED angel eye bulb for under $100??

I know there have been a lot of threads about LED bulbs for angel eyes over the years, but I don't see too much specific info on products that is recent. I took a stab at these from ebay for my 2011 X35i, and they aren't bad for $28: 2X H8 2 CREE XRE White Angel Eyes 10W Daytime Running Light DRL for BMW E60 E70 | eBay

They aren't great either. I had the $15 GP Thunders before and they were just OK. I know (from experience with my E90) that LUX is a nice product, I'm just feeling cheap

ive bought every design over my BMW ownerships (both on my E92 and now on my E70)
the design you bought would be the second worst haha.
these i have found to be the best design, although E70 ring design is the most difficult to get proper outter ring illumination.
but again these are or par with LUX bulbs for a fraction of the cost (i had Lux V4 before these)

Awesome, thanks for the recommendation.. I am going to give these a shot. We will see how they look against my current 'second worst design' haha

In the meantime, it is really hard to get a photo that is a fair representation of how these headlights look. Just tried taking some photos with my iphone and they all made the angel eyes look way brighter than they really are. Maybe the real camera will do a better job..

Here is a photo for what it is worth.. I could make them look better or worse depending on the angel, camera settings, etc., but feel this a pretty fair representation.

I've also got a set very similar to that. If I can find them I will post a pic. Pretty excited to try the set I just ordered as suggested above. Forgot how easy is is to install these lights in the e70 vs. other bmws... will make A/B testing easy.

LUX H8 160...or you're wasting your money...anything other than a LCI headlight conversion is garbage...

actually Lux bulbs are the only way to waste your money.
ive compared side by side plenty of Lux bulbs.
They can pretend all they want they design them, but they are nothing more than another chinese made build like the rest of them
Ive actually found the E70 does not react well to the Lux's style tip where the LEDs around the post are at th 2/4 and 8/10oclock positions.
it much more efficeintly lines up with the outter rings Glass reflection tube if they are evenly spaced

they just do good marketing on the forums
