LUX H8 160...or you're wasting your money...anything other than a LCI headlight conversion is garbage...

actually Lux bulbs are the only way to waste your money.
ive compared side by side plenty of Lux bulbs.
They can pretend all they want they design them, but they are nothing more than another chinese made build like the rest of them
Ive actually found the E70 does not react well to the Lux's style tip where the LEDs around the post are at th 2/4 and 8/10oclock positions.
it much more efficeintly lines up with the outter rings Glass reflection tube if they are evenly spaced

they just do good marketing on the forums

You're right...because tossing $30 after $30 after $30 into shitty LED lights is the more sensible way to go about it.

I've had cheap LEDs on my X5 M and they were garbage, just like that picture posted above. Absolutely no light in the outer rings...yeah sure, they light up when it's pitch black...turn on the headlight and it's bye bye...

Since I've spent money on the Lux I've never looked back.

Not sure what LUX you've been using but if you're saying the 160s are as bad, or worse than some EBay LEDs, you're FOS...

I'm in no way, shape, or form affiliated with these guys...

To the OP, I'd suggest you try the 160s and see for yourself, if you don't see the difference you can always return them.

EDIT: I will leave my original statement here but I will say this...the X5 M does have the E71 (X6/M) headlights so it's possible that they look better in that application...they are slightly smaller than the E70 assembly...but I still stand by what I said about the product.
