High Oil consumption

Hi,
my 2011 5.0i consumes at least 0.5 quarter oil per 600 miles.
I think its to high.
My mechanic guy sad that it could be clogged/carbon build up on piston ring and recommend to use some carbon cleaner for engine.
To spray cleaner in cylinder - removing spark plug and leave half a day, than flush oil.
Any recommendation ???
What cleaner you recommend ???

get on the throttle hard, often. let boost (twin turbos?) build up get lots of cylinder pressure to seat the rings. use a couple bottles of redline fuel treatment.

all the light throttle, low speed driving is making it worse.

How many miles? Does the 5.0 suffer from the valve stems seal issue like the 4.8's? My 4.8i has 100k miles and I am just starting to notice a bit of smoke out of the tailpipe. So, it is due for valve stems. Not looking forward to the task at all as I did the repair previously on my 545i and it took about 18 hours total.

My 4.8i is starting to use a bit more oil as well certainly due to the valve stems. I sure hope the 5.0 does not have the same issue as I just purchased a 2012 550i (same engine?). I have not done the research to know the difference yet.

I gonna use sonax engine cleaner:
SONAX Easy off engine cleaner flush :: Products - SONAX - cleaning and polishing like a professional
As I'm told, have to add in oil and let the engine work 10-15min at idle, than replace oil.
