Sirius radio unit 65.12 9142852-03

My sat went out today.it shows grey on the display.
I pulled the unit.
model # 65.12 9142852-03
2008 x5 E70 02/2008
I know, I need to clean the roof drain, and check the seals, as the unit got wet.
I am unable to locate this model # on realoem, or any other site.
Anyone know where to find one? and if there is a difference to a new model # what is it?

Unless you want to pay for FSC to activate the Sirius module in CIC, you should keep you external tuner.

In additional to FRC I also would need to extend the antenna to the front right? I don't like the audio quality of Sirius so I probably will never use it anyway.

Hey, I noticed you sold a CIC PnP adapter/emulator a few years ago. What did you end up going with?

Hey, I noticed you sold a CIC PnP adapter/emulator a few years ago. What did you end up going with?

I needed to go with a different one. There are tricks right now to activate the CIC without the need for an emulator. Check the how to hack the cic thread on the coding forum.

I haven't really kept up on new things for the CIC though, since I did the retrofit in 2013

Thanks for the info. Nobody says anything good about the emulator I have. From the pictures, it looks like the one you sold.
