Brake Bleeder Thickness?

I am trying to find out what will the thickness be for the bleeding screws at each wheel for the braking system. Will try to bleed the old brake fluid out and put new one and wanted to get those speedy bleeders so the air does not goback into the system, while a do it.

Have
2013 BMW X5 xDrive 35i (E70) L6-3.0L Turbo (N55)
with 56000 miles.

And normally it should take : DOT 4 ESL fluid.

Any advice on this will appreciate.

Did you flush the brake fluids by yourself? I'm thinking about it doing it but not sure it would be a easy one.

I don't know the answer to you question. But consider investing in a motive brake bleeder or other tool. Doing the old fashioned way of just pumping the brake peddle is tedious and not terribly effective.

I think they are $60.

I did buy this
Motive Products 0100 European Power Brake Bleeder w/ Adapter
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And took the bottle for return and the hose from this:
Brake Fluid Bleeder
Also purchased 3 containers of Bmw brake fluid from the dealer , about $6 each
Watch this video, is to have an idea how is done

Is easy, like 1,2,3...
Just watch the video and you will have an idea how it is. Stealers wanted $300 to do it, so is cheaper to buy the stuff and do it yourself.

GoodLuck.

Thanks guys and I was able to do this by myself. It took around 45 minutes to complete the job and had 2L of fluid in case if I ran out.

I was going to do mine but decided to check the fluid with the brake fluid test strips from amazon, saved me some money and time. I have time till next spring at least. Another option for those who arent sure if they should replace it or go little longer.
