The front, you pull down at the front. You have to pull pretty hard. It will snap out.
The rears are a PITA! It took a lot to get the rears out. I ended up pulling the entire assembly out, then pulling the light off of the metal bracket that it sits in. I broke the covers off when doing so. A few tabs broke off, but there were enough left to snap them back on. Good luck. |

Yes. Use a plastic pry tool, and work it down somewhat, so you can get your fingers under the front (windshield side), and pull it down. It felt like I was going to break it, but it popped out.

While changing the front dome lights in my 2010 X5 35D I dropped a LEG in light housing, tried opening whole thing by unscrewing the back cover, did not come off, is there a way to get the LED out. It just sis there and does nor seem to cause ny problems, still would like to get it out.
