Scan it with INPA or ISTA for a description of fault. ( or for a repair procedure in ISTA)

What’s the difference between INPA and ISTA? I saw on eBay is about $40 for the cable and dvd software? Is that right?

Osta is dealer level diagnostics software.
Inpa is factory level diagnostics. Very powerful tools. Yes, purchase the kdcan cable, start with inpa. Easier. Inpa comes with the cable on ebay amazon. Ista does not. Ista is 40 gb when installed. See bimmerfest Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

UPDATE: I took the iDrive joystick apart to the circuit board. re-soldered the 4 points that the select or push down represents and it works perfectly!
Thank you all for your input! I appreciate it. I ordered myself a INPA. |
