Where/how to bypass A/C compressor clutch?
The A/C on my car stopped working, and visually I can see that the compressor's clutch is not engaging. When I press the A/C button on the HVAC inside the car, the car's RPMs drops/rises and the AUX fan turns on, but no A/C.
Does anyone know where the relay is for the A/C compressor is or where/how I can bypass it on the car? Thanks. |

I am not trying to bypass it so that it is no longer usable. I am trying to bypass the relay to force the clutch to engage.

There may be a low pressure switch that is open. If the Freon pressure leaks out, the switch will open to prevent compressor damage. Look for wiring going to the AC tubes.
