Hi folks. New to the forum.
My X5 was involved in a collision previously and the vibration damper (or harmonic balancer) was damaged because it took some force from impact. The impact was weird, it was above the front rebar, and also broke the belt tensioner.
It seems as if the vibration damper is not spinning 100% straight. Im wondering if the hub behind it was slightly damaged. Im thinking to replace it, but could not find some guidance. Im wondering if I just take off the crankcase bolt while holding timing, pull old hub off and replace?
