Fogs might be difficult with the fender/bumper connection

I just clicked on the How To's link at the top of the page, looked in the LIGHTS section, then saw #21 which is for the e70 fog lights...and the link was for a pre-facelift fog light change.

Just because its not a 2009 doesn't mean it would work for you. All pre LCI (pre facelift) e70s will have the same foglight set-up...its the ones that are LCI that may be different (2011-up ?)

BTW, the OP that started the thread said it took approx 15 minutes to change the fog light.

Just came back from Youtube after typing "how to change bmw e70 fog light" and found this video about upgrading the fog lights...but the 1st 2 minutes is about how to access the existing bulb: https://youtu.be/dJF3SNRoE3Y

Check out the video DIY I did on the fog lights. It should be linked in my signature.

Just a helpful FYI...you may want to consider adding your model/model year/build date to your signature...so that helpful videos like you posted would be understood from the start as to which fog lights the DIY is for. The e70 has multiple fog light set-ups...the pre LCI and the LCI (facelift)...which are different.

No one knows (until they click the video link) if the video works for them or not.

HI, I do have it in my signature, or is there a better place I should put this? See screenshot

My suggestion was to Orthotist...who was also quoted in my post. He has a link to a video but has no vehicle info down where vehicle info is usually inserted in forum member's signature.

If the model year/build date doesn't apply to what one is looking for...why click on the link. If he'd add his vehicle info...it would prevent this. As it stands...it's just "click bait" that can lead to upping his youtube count.

This worked for me!!! Changed in my yellow LED's. Now how do I get rid of that error for fog lights out?

I was in the process changing the fog light bulbs on my 2010 X5 35d, the driver side is no problem, and is exactly same as described in this post, however, the passenger side there is practically no access, I could get the old bulb out, however, no enough access to reinstall, any one has any experience with that.
