X5 3.0 m sport
I've purchased my X5 about 2 months ago with no history. It has 7 seats which is what I needed. Immediately, I've ask cousin's garage to replace both thermostats, all rear suspension bags, full services and brakes. Needed car to be 100 for summer holidays. While driving in Alps there was some uphill road on German autobahn. This is where my X5 let me down. Kind of lost power when harsh accelerating from 80 mph. Had to stop to cool it down before it was driveable. Despite of engine breather been changed it smokes a lot in oil cap. There is also some humming noise on the right side of the engine as you look at it. Both faults were there when I got it and I've done nearly 4000 miles in 30 days. Got a small video but not sure if forum will allow upload. For loss of power I can only think of turbo, MAF or bad fuel. Since no fault codes on ISTA I will have to take it to the garage. Worried about noise and smoke more the loss of power https://youtu.be/L4OF6hYaUQQ https://youtu.be/bLtdcDA9Bng Anybody have any thoughts? Sorry bro. This would have to go to my indy for full diagnostics. Maybe something was missed in your PM tasks.
