First hiccup with our 2010 35d (CIC Indicates Max Oil Level and Suggests Service)
Was checking the vehicle status in the CIC/iDrive and noticed the warning that the oil level is pegged at max and is too high. Checked the level with the dipstick and it is normal so I am assuming it's the sensor. Vehicle has 142,000 miles. No other errors with the vehicle. Have put ~6000 miles on it in the 6 months we've owned it. No other complaints so far.
Going to order the OEM sensor at $155 pending any input from the collective wisdom here. I am relatively new to the e70 and have a lot of learning to do.
