adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring

I have a 2010 X5 35D, has anybody tried adding blind spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control to X5, is it even possible

Active cruise control was a factory option. I have it and it works well enough but it is much better in newer BMW models. I think it would be very difficult to retrofit and it was a very rare option. Blind spot monitoring was not available on E70s, just lane keep assist. I know of aftermarket blind spot monitoring systems but they require drilling the rear bumper which I am not willing to do.

Don't have real experience, but I think the trikiest (=expensive) step will be radar calibration. Dunno if it can function well enough w/o it, esp. if parts are new.
