Adding 214s to my x5

I have gotten a set of 214 staggered set of wheels for the Xer. Is this just a bolt and go set of wheels? I've found a zillion threads on adding spacers but I'm not finding if it's anything that requires the spacers. There is a new set of conti dws tires on these wheels and I wanted to get them mounted asap. Already ordered the arch extenders. Btw, I have adaptive drive and load leveling suspension.

Bolt on and go. Although you can always add spacers if you’d like.

I would think so. They have 40/37 offset. You want them to stick out? I have them (214) when I got my 4.8 Sports package but went with aftermarket wheels with 23 offset which is perfect with the flares.

Yes Seeing as how I have the regular ones I think itll look a little queer with the factory flares vs the extended ones.

Not cheap for the original OEM flares, but there are aftermarket ones on eBay that are much cheaper, (unfortunately, their quality is much lower). Either way, you're going to want one of these:

You could skip the flares and just add front spacers so the fender gap matches the back. Would save some money. 214 rears with no fender flares will be pretty flush with no spacers.

Searching around I actually like the look of the bulged out flares...I want it to look factory....not big into the appearance of aftermarket anything. I did find a used set of flares off a 2011 for 150 bucks about a year ago full well knowing that I would be installing these wheels in the future.

I think I am also going to cease the opportunity to install my OE Running boards....I miss them so so much.
