Hi folks,
The car is a 07 3.0d (European) with 2VA Adaptive Drive. I started having this intermittent problem towards end of winter last year. The error happened from time to time, and as per rules, it would not be present when I took the car to a mechanic.

: A shock absorber with an exclamation mark would appear in the dash along with the "Dynamic Damping Control failure, driving comfort blah blah drive moderately blah blah" message on the screen.
The suspension would not go in to sport mode when the error was present. The error was very intermittent at that time. Then spring came, and it disappeared with the coming of warm weather. I didn't give it much thought at that moment. Now this year winter came and the error came back. This time it is not intermittent anymore and happens every time as soon as I start the car. Car drives fine, shocks are not leaking, no clunks and no excessive movement.
I hooked it up to a laptop with Rheingold diagnostics software my buddy had, and the following codes were present:
006318 VDM: Activation line, left
00D76A VDM: Message (status of rear left damper satellite)
00D768 VDM: Message (status of front left damper satellite)
S 0093 No communication possible with: Damper satellite, front left
S 0091 No communication possible with: Damper satellite, rear left
I googled the codes but found exactly nothing. Do these codes and symptoms point out to a definitive culprit? Any ideas where to start with the diagnosis?
Many thanks for your ideas!
