50i Color Selection

I've begun looking at the E70 50i models and cannot find a list of colors available like I was able to for the E53 4.8is.

Does anyone have a list of what colors the 50i came in?

Thanks!

Is there a section in realoem or the parts catalog that might casually contain the paint used on this model? Or track down an order form or advertisement from the time.

You didn't indicate a model year...so I just did a quick google search using the search phrase "BMW 2013 e70 X5 pricing ordering guide PDF" and found a downloadable PDF near the top of the search results. The pic below is a cropped screen shot of the regular and metallic exterior paints offered for the 2013 model year. You probably can find prior years by doing the same thing...just change the model year in your search.

Here's a link to the entire 2013 PDF I found: https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/at...5&d=1330488657

Thanks again Qsilver7! You have an immeasurable depth of BMW knowledge. I had tried searching "available colors' and "color selections", etc. but didn't have the proper terminology. Heck. I didn't even know there was such a thing as a pricing ordering guide.

I hadn't indicated a MY as I hadn't done enough research to identify what options were available in certain years. But this pricing ordering guide you've unearthed for me will certainly help with that. Thank you!

Glad I could point you in a direction...good luck in your research & potential vehicle purchase. Hopefully you'll add the N63 engine to your research so that you have a knowledgeable understanding of its pros & cons. The N62/N62TU/N63 should be sussed with both eyes wide open

With good reason! Not really a warm welcome when reading this...

"In December 2014, BMW North America released a voluntary recall ("Customer Care Package") relating to issues with timing chain stretch, fuel injectors, mass air flow sensors, crankcase vent lines, battery, engine vacuum pump, low pressure fuel sensor and revising the oil service interval."
