![]() x2 Doesn't it rain alot in the PNW? I would think it would be quite useful. Also, I would think it would leave a hole in the rear glass that would have to have some sort of plug in, unless there is an aftermarket rear window without the wiper hole? Sorry, that isn't much help I guess..

Rear wiper is essential 8 months of the year in this area if you care about seeing what is out the rear window.
Of course you could religiously apply rainX or some other product. Removal would be simple, pull the motor, insert rubber plug. May need to adapt some sort of resistor setup to keep the car happy. Alternatively, you can modify the drive section of the motor, to not stick out the window. Buy a used motor cheap somewhere and modify that one.

Exactly what I do. I'd rather apply RainX than constantly use the wiper which eventually leaves a giant rainbow of tiny scratches in the glass (because the rear window is always much dirtier than the front).

I live in the PNW as well, and use mine from October until the rains let up in July..

I wish BMW would've hidden it under the roof spoiler. That way it'd be out of sight. I hate the damn thing and never use it.

Exactly. I've seen a few SUVs with that concept and it looks much better.
