Headlight differences

I want to replace my headlights and want to purchase full housings instead as I do not feel like doing the lens swap as I hate doing (have done in the past with different cars).

I don't want to do the LCI retrofit as it seems complicated to code and all the additional cost of the modules.

So on eBay I came across this housing and looks like mine but the turn signal diffuser looks a little different or is it just me?

What version/year are these from?

Will these be a direct fit? I have adaptive/HIDs.

Top is mine, bottom is replacement option:

From the pictures it look like the replacement item is for an F15 X5.

Or perhaps an X5M.

Is the e70 x5m headlights a direct swap? Not the full LED versions obviously.

You can see from the edge of the lens the E70 is rounded while M/other versions, like the one in the bottom pic, comes to a point. It won't fit.

it's better to have P/N where indicates on stick on back of headlight.
then you should look for the similar one for replacement.

It won't fit. The bottom is for E70 X5M E71 X6/X6M models. Have you heard of realoem.com? Punch in your VIN and look up the P/N for the correct headlight for your X5. Then search for that P/N on ebay or if you want new, getbmwparts.com is your place to be.
