Good news!


These bolts a very vulnerable to corrosion by standing water in their caps if/when the engine compartment partition fails. So now that you have the bolts out, seriously consider replacing them with new standard hex head bolts.

Possible workaround

I had the Left one stuck, and twisting it allowed access to the 10mm nut below which secures the bracket that the Allen screw is in. Once out it was easy to drill and remove it. RealOEM shows that the right hand side one is also secured by a bracket below, if you can, you might get away with twisting it and seeing if you can access the bracket below and release that instead ?

Don't forget to put some grease on the bolt heads when you put them back,to avoid further corrosion.
