Trailer wiring - no 12v Aux

Just finished installing the factory wiring harness for towing, completed the coding. All lights work on the trailer, running lights are on all the time (is this normal?) Brake lights work, turn signals work.

Using a Prodigy RF brake controller, got that to pair, but it doesn't see the trailer is connected. Flashes n.c. which means there is no 12v power on pin 4 of the 7-way.

I could have sworn I read someone say that if the x5 doesn't see the trailer, it won't provide the 12v power to the plug.

I checked all the fuses for the trailer. I think the 7 way gets its power from fuse 116, so I need to verify that 12v is there.

Thoughts on this? Is anyone familiar enough with the coding to know if this is part of it?

I was also thinking of finding another switched 12v source and just splicing the plug into that.

Got this figured out. I initially had a loose connection in the fuse panel. Fixing that provided 12v to the 7 way. Everything works!
