Can you open a broken door lock actuator?.

A few days ago our drivers door lock actuator failed in the locked position, the door won't open using both inside and outside handles.
I have un-clipped the top part of the door trim to gain some access, is there any way of releasing the actuator?.

Thanks in advance

I managed to open it, uncliped the inner handle cable from the actuator and pushed the actuator arm down hard with a screwdriver.
It released and so far is working ok, let's see how long it lasts.

Id order a new actuator and hope it lasts long enough for the part to arrive!
