07 4.8i Electrical Issues

Hi All,
I am experiencing weird Electrical issues when slowing down or being stopped and idling. The center display will turn off, and the passenger restraint fault, level system malfunction, and CEL light will come on saying that it lost communication. Once I accelerate and get the RPMs up the screen comes on and the lights go away. Thinking it was a battery issue, I tried replacing the battery and registering it, but that did not change the situation. The battery I replaced it was a 92ah AGM, and the vehicle reads that it has a 90ah which I cannot currently change. Can the difference in ah be causing this?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Have you checked to see what rate of charge alternator is putting out?

Replacing the battery was a good step. What was the age and type that you took out?

The difference between the battery Ah and programmed Ah is not a problem.

I'd agree that the alternator is suspect. Inspecting for loose connections is worth your time also.

Check your resistance from the body to the engine. You may need to replace the ground cable.
This is a common culprit.

What is the best way to check this? And where is the ground cable located?
Thanks for the help

The battery was an OEM 92ah AGM battery, dated Jan 2017. The vehicle did have a battery drain from the telecommunications module which I fixed, but that may have done a toll on that battery. I have an alternator on the way. Thanks for the help.

while asking that may get you 1, 2 or maybe 3 people responding in the next 24 hrs.... if you SEARCH here for "ground" cable, strap, etc, you can probably find 25 posts, maybe 3,4 with pictures- in 10 minutes.

I attempted searching on xoutpost, keywording “ground strap” and “ground cable” on specifically the X5 E70 forums, and came up with little results, none talking about location
