help me pick correct alternator

hey guys,

been trying to figure out what part number i need to order for my 2007 e70 3.0.

When i look this up on getbmwparts, and other websites, it returns results for amps. 180, and 220.

It says the 180 is for 4 zone climate, and adaptive. my x5 has the climate control in the front and back, but i do not think it has adaptive driving.

the 220 says its for use w/o 4zone climate. so im confused as to which one to order.

can you guys point me in the right direction. my vin is 5UXFE43567LY83734

additionally is there anything other than the alternator that would cause the charging malfunction light? the battery was replaced last year, and the dealer did the thing in the computer to make it recognize that the batter was replaced.

I do have experience working on cars, but not so much with BMW's, so im hoping that i can just get an alternator that would be plug and play to swap out with the one
