Question Headlight Conversion LHD to RHD

Hello,

I am planning to ship my BMW X5 to UK from Canada. It is 2011 35D LCI Adaptive Headlights without LED coronas. Do I need to buy new headlights to make it pass UK standards? I have searched a lot and have gotten nowhere. Some say there is a lever to change LHD to RHD. Some say to replace the headlights. I searched Realoem for part numbers but they only list one set of part numbers. Please help!

How were you searching realOEM? If you're using your VIN, it would only show one part number applicable to your vehicle.

Do you have a lever on each headlight? (I doubt it.) Usually the lever converts a RHD to a"flat" beam for travelling over in Europe for vacation or the like. If you are moving to the UK then you'll have to put in everything they tell you. Most likely they'll want RHD lights with the proper local certifications. The MoT testers are very picky.
By the time you ship it and convert it you may be better off selling local and buying local over there.
