I have the ScanGauge 2 and I like it. I set it to display water temperature, throttle plate angle, intake air temperature and battery voltage. Those are some of the "built-in" gauges. With different commands, different parameters can be displayed but you have to know where to look. I haven't and don't know how to. I was in contact with the company and I should probably get back in touch. Would like a Bluetooth driven one. Really just wish BMW could have been bothered to install an oil temperature meter.
The X5d has several exhaust temperature sensors at various points.
