Hey everyone, new guy here. Just picked up my first BMW, an e70 diesel. I'm into Cummins diesel trucks and wanted to get my wife something with the longevity, power and efficiency of a diesel motor. Started my search by looking into Benz GLK 250s, but found too many problems. That lead me into the M57 motor and I decided that a 2011-2013 X5d was probably the ideal vehicle for us. I searched for over a month before I found the right one with all the packages I wanted. And here it is:

It's a 2012 X5D with the sport package, hot + cold packages, heads up display and most importantly, not black on black. I would have preferred Vermillion red, but finding a clean sport red with HUD and low miles is basically looking for a unicorn. So, white with brown leather will suffice. The white has actually grown on me as it looks pretty good even when it's fairly dirty, which darker colors definitely don't do as well.
So far my only plans for it are darker tint, deleting the third row for a spare tire storage and doing a delete/tune after the 120k extended warranty runs out.
I've read through a few threads here and it looks like a wealth of information. Glad to have found an awesome vehicle and a good forum to back it up. See you guys around!
