ZF 8HP shift-by-wire selector wiring

Hi folks,

I am currently working on a conversion for someone that involves the fitment of a ZF 8hp gearbox. We are intending to use the HTG gearbox control unit, but where we're falling down at the moment is working out how the selector talks to to the control unit. We're using a rotary selector, a standard PRNDS selector from a Range Rover. These had the 8hp so im assuming it can be interfaced with the gearbox controller.

I have emailed HTG themselves, but I'd just like some insight on how the selector communicates/is wired in.
