Unhappy Another wobbly crank pulley.

Seems like my crank pulley is on its way out. I've already replaced the tensioner and both idler pulleys but it made no difference. When idling the crank pulley rattles and the tensioner sometimes moves.

Is there any viable aftermarket or should go OEM?

Replaced pulley with oem one. The rubber on the old was deteriorating and the inner ring was no longer in flush with the outer one.

Curious, did you notice any increased vibration, particularly at idle before replacement?

I have a 35d, but it seems to have more vibration at idle (Particularly in gear, stopped at light) than I remember it having when I bought it. I just past 100K miles, and thinking my crank pulley/dampener is on the way out as well..

It's usually engine mounts or CV axle that introduce that shake in drive at idle.

While a dampener could cause that, on the m57 I would check the motor mounts.

So these have active motor mounts that are vacuum controller, right? Already thinking I have some vacuum line or actuator issues, maybe they are related?

Yes, they are vacuum controlled. When I changed mine there was a little over 1" height difference from the mounts collapsing on the inside. This caused the vibration issues I was having at the time.
