00A6D0 ?

Anyone dealt with this code:

‘13 X5d

Caused the A/C compressor to not kick on.

Searched here, Bimmerpost, newTIS, Google, and a few of the FB groups, nothing but this one post! https://www.bimmerfest.com/threads/f...valve.1228393/

Nothing

System worked great yesterday AM, then a/c stopped working during a drive

Cleared the code and A/c worked normal ... returned after 3 ignition events

I get a lot of hits on "BMW" and "A6D0" and "Code"

Dont restrict it to E70s....same codes and parts used in MANY different BMWs.

Ultimately the compressor control valve is intermittently failing.. trade in or fix... decided to fix

60$ part to replace valve but same amount of effort to just replace the whole compressor

New compressor, belts and a new harmonic balancer (ordered an oem version)

First one is at 90k and still good... some heat checking in the rubber, only replacing since I will be in there, four simply bolts and an extra belt!

Easy button
