Hesitation / rpm drop in 1st and 2nd gear
I just replaced the water pump on my 2007 x5 3.0 as it had failed. I replaced the thermostat while I was there too. Before the water pump had failed the car was running perfectly fine. After I changed the pump I notice slight hesitation and quick rpm drop Randomly in 1st or 2nd gear. It happens sometimes when I’m driving around 65mph also where it feels like the car hesitates a bit maybe a slight drop in rpm and then continues to drive. I checked the codes and see nothing and everything else seems okay
Any thoughts on what this could be ? Do you think it’s related to the water pump ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Start by checking for any vacuum hose that was disturbed in the process or any part of the intake that was removed.
