Odd Rotor Markings Shortly after Pad Replacement?
So I replaced the rear pads about 400-500 miles ago, and I was walking up to the car today and noticed these odd 'ring' markings on both rear rotors (though the passenger side is worse than the drivers side)..
Are they heat markings from a high spot on the pads dragging or something? Or is it the opposite a a low spot on the pads not making contact and light corrosion showing up? Something completely different? ![]() Any insight is appreciated, thanks.. (Pads are not BMW, they are Autozone Duralast Gold semi-metallic pads)
